It also has been accepted that emotional disharmony is one of the important factors in physical symptoms and disease. Emotional Freedom Technique is a widely used alternative healing method for stress/disease relief, with impressive results on chronic illness as well.
EFT is a technique for releasing emotions that combines psychological “talk therapy” with tapping on specific energy meridian points on the body. It is based on the basis that all illness, both physical and emotional, is caused by an energetic system imbalance in the body. People who use this technique believe it can help you balance your energy system, treat pain, and change your habits and beliefs.
Every piece of information we’ve gathered over the course of our lives is stored in our subconscious mind. For a long time, our stored knowledge has been formed by our early life experiences, cultural surroundings, interpersonal interactions due to which emotional and psychological reactions often occur at the subconscious level. Ideally, this would be updated on a regular basis through a process of conscious thought, but this is rarely the case as our subconscious mind takes over and controls 95% of our lives.
This is where the tapping method comes into play. It is our goal to reprogram our subconscious mind and possibly change a dysfunctional belief or unwanted thought pattern that sits in our subconscious and is restricting us from living a happy and fulfilled life, and also to instil and reinforce new positive beliefs.
